  1. This document contains the End User Licensing Agreement, and instructions
  2. concerning font installation on the various Windows platforms.

  7. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR MICROSOFT SOFTWARE

  10. IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY: This Microsoft End-User License Agreement ('EULA')
  11. is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and
  12. Microsoft Corporation for the Microsoft software accompanying this EULA, which
  13. includes computer software and may include associated media, printed
  14. materials, and 'on-line' or electronic documentation ('SOFTWARE PRODUCT' or
  15. 'SOFTWARE'). By exercising your rights to make and use copies of the SOFTWARE
  16. PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree
  17. to the terms of this EULA, you may not use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  19. SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
  20. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international
  21. copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.
  22. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.
  23. 1. GRANT OF LICENSE. This EULA grants you the following rights:
  24. · Installation and Use. You may install and use an unlimited number of copies
  25.   of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
  26. · Reproduction and Distribution. You may reproduce and distribute an unlimited
  27.   number of copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT;  provided that each copy shall be
  28.   a true and complete copy, including all copyright and trademark notices, and
  29.   shall be accompanied by a copy of this EULA.  Copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  30.   may be distributed as a standalone product or included with your own
  31.   product.  Copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be sold or distributed for
  32.   any kind of fee.

  34. 2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS. 
  35. · Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly. You may
  36.   not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except
  37.   and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by
  38.   applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
  39. · Restrictions on Alteration.  You may not rename, edit or create any
  40.   derivative works from the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, other than subsetting when
  41.   embedding them in documents.
  42. · Software Transfer. You may permanently transfer all of your rights under
  43.   this EULA, provided the recipient agrees to the terms of this EULA.
  44. · Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, Microsoft may terminate
  45.   this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA.
  46.   In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all
  47.   of its component parts.

  49. 3. COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  50.    (including but not limited to any images, text, and 'applets' incorporated
  51.    into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, and any
  52.    copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by Microsoft or its suppliers.
  53.    The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international
  54.    treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any
  55.    other copyrighted material.

  57. 4. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and documentation
  58.    are provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication, or disclosure by the
  59.    Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph
  60.    (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at
  61.    DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial
  62.    Computer Software-Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as applicable.

  64.    WA 98052-6399.

  66. LIMITED WARRANTY

  68. NO WARRANTIES. Microsoft expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE
  69. PRODUCT. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any related documentation is provided 'as
  70. is' without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including,
  71. without limitation, the implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a
  72. particular purpose, or noninfringement. The entire risk arising out of use or
  73. performance of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT remains with you.

  75. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall Microsoft or its
  76. suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation,
  77. damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business
  78. information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or
  79. inability to use this Microsoft product, even if Microsoft has been advised of
  80. the possibility of such damages. Because some states/jurisdictions do not
  81. allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental
  82. damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.

  84. MISCELLANEOUS
  85. If you acquired this product in the United States, this EULA is governed by
  86. the laws of the State of Washington.
  87. If this product was acquired outside the United States, then local laws may
  88. apply.

  105. To add a new font to your computer:
  106.  
  107. 1) Open the font folder from the Control Panel.
  108.  
  109. 2) On the File menu, click Install New Font.
  110.  
  111. 3) Click the drive and folder that contain the fonts you want to add.

  113. 4) Double-click the icon for the font you want to add.

  116. Tips
  117.  
  118. To select more than one font to add, press and hold down the CTRL key, and
  119. then click the fonts you want. 
  120.  
  121. To select a range of fonts in the list, press and hold down the SHIFT key
  122. while dragging the cursor over the fonts.

  124. To add fonts from a network drive without using disk space on your computer,
  125. make sure Copy Fonts To Windows Folder is not checked.

  133. To add fonts to your computer:

  135. 1) In the Control Panel window, choose the Fonts icon. The fonts already
  136.    installed are listed in the Installed Fonts box.

  138. 2) Choose the Add button. 
  139.  
  140. 3) In the Add Fonts dialog box, select the font you want to add. You can add
  141.    more than one font at a time. You can also select all the fonts listed by
  142.    choosing the Select All button. If the font is not located in the current
  143.    drive or directory, select the drive and directory where it is located. If
  144.    the font you want to add is on someone else's computer, you can use the
  145.    Network button to browse through and connect to shared directories on other
  146.    computers.

  148. 4) If you are low on disk space and want to use the fonts directly from the
  149.    directory (network or local) where they are located, without copying the
  150.    font files to the Windows directory, clear the Copy Fonts To Windows
  151.    Directory check box.

  153. 5) Choose the OK button.

  155. 6) In the Fonts dialog box, choose the Close button.

  157. For help with the Fonts and Add Fonts dialog boxes, choose the Help button or
  158. press F1 while using the dialog boxes.
